The following notes provide a simple overview of what happens to your personal information when you visit our website. Personal information is any information that personally identifies you. For detailed information on the subject of data protection, please refer to our data protection declaration listed below this text.

Data collection on our website

Who is responsible for data collection on this website?

The data processing on this website is carried out by the website operator. Their contact data can be found in the imprint of this website.

How do we collect your data?

On the one hand, your data is collected by you communicating it to us. This may involve data that you enter in a contact form, for example.

Other data is automatically collected by our IT systems when you visit the website. These are mainly technical data (e.g. Internet browser, operating system or time of the page call). This data is collected automatically as soon as you enter our website.

What do we use your data for?

Some of the data is collected to ensure that the website is error-free. Other data may be used to analyse your user behaviour.

What rights do you have with regard to your data?

You have the right at any time and free of charge to obtain information about the origin, recipient and purpose of your stored personal data. You also have the right to demand that this data be corrected, blocked or deleted. You can contact us at any time at the address given in the imprint for this and other questions on the subject of data protection. Furthermore, you have the right to appeal to the responsible supervisory authority.

  1. General notes and mandatory information

Privacy

The operators of these pages take the protection of your personal data very seriously. We treat your personal data confidentially and according to the legal data protection regulations as well as this data protection explanation.

If you use this website, various personal data will be collected. Personal data is data with which you can be personally identified. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect and how we use it. It also explains how and for what purpose this is done.

We would like to point out that data transmission over the Internet (e.g. communication by e-mail) can be subject to security vulnerabilities. A complete protection of the data against access by third parties is not possible.

Note on the responsible body

The responsible body for data processing on this website is

yourprivacyfirst

Mike Peter
Böchinger Weg 6
76829 Landau

Phone: 06341 6731696
E-Mail: hello@yourprivacyfirst.de

The responsible body is the natural or legal person who alone or jointly with others decides on the purposes and means of processing personal data (e.g. names, e-mail addresses, etc.).

Data protection officer

According to article 37 DSGVO I am not obliged to appoint a data protection officer. However, as an expert for data protection, it is still my concern to ensure that the collection and processing of data comply with legal requirements.

Revocation of your consent to data processing

Many data processing operations are only possible with your express consent. You can revoke your consent at any time. For this purpose, an informal e-mail notification to us is sufficient. The legality of the data processing carried out until the revocation remains unaffected by the revocation.

Right of appeal to the responsible supervisory authority

In the event of breaches of data protection law, the data subject shall have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority. The responsible supervisory authority for data protection issues is the data protection officer of the federal state in which our company is based. A list of the data protection officers and their contact details can be found in the following link:

https://www.bfdi.bund.de/DE/Infothek/Anschriften_Links/anschriften_links-node.html.

Right to data transferability

You have the right to have data which we process automatically on the basis of your consent or in fulfilment of a contract handed over to you or to a third party in a common, machine-readable format. If you request the direct transfer of the data to another responsible person, this will only be done as far as it is technically feasible.

SSL or TLS encryption

This site uses SSL or TLS encryption for security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as orders or requests that you send to us as the site operator. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the fact that the address line of the browser changes from “http://” to “https://” and by the lock symbol in your browser line.

If SSL or TLS encryption is activated, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.

Information, blocking, deletion

Within the framework of the applicable legal provisions, you have the right at any time to free information about your stored personal data, their origin and recipient and the purpose of data processing and, if applicable, a right to correction, blocking or deletion of this data. You can contact us at any time at the address given in the imprint for this and other questions on the subject of personal data.

However, you can also set your browser so that you are informed about the setting of cookies and only allow cookies in individual cases, accept cookies for certain cases or generally exclude them and activate the automatic deletion of cookies when closing the browser. If cookies are deactivated, the functionality of this website may be restricted.

Cookies, which are necessary for the execution of the electronic communication process or for the provision of certain functions desired by you (e.g. shopping basket function), are stored on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO. The website operator has a justified interest in the storage of cookies for the technically error-free and optimised provision of its services. Insofar as other cookies (e.g. cookies for analysing your surfing behaviour) are stored, these are dealt with separately in this data protection declaration.

Server log files

The provider of the pages automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. These are:

  • Browser type and browser version
  • used operating system
  • Referrer URL
  • Hostname of the accessing computer
  • Time of the server request
  • IP address

This data will not be merged with other data sources.

The basis for data processing is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO, which permits the processing of data for the fulfilment of a contract or pre-contractual measures.

Contact form

A contact form is not included. If you click on the contact button, your e-mail program will open on your computer.

The information you send me about this will be saved for further processing of your request and, if there is no further cooperation, deleted afterwards. If there is further cooperation, the information will be transferred to the CRM I use and will remain stored there until there is no need for storage. Unless there are legal reasons for storage.

The collection of the data thus takes place according to Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. b or f DSGVO.

Chat

This website uses Smartsupp, a chat provider based in the Czech Republic, which connects users to me. The chat tool itself is integrated as a so-called plugin on this site.

I do this in order to offer a faster way to contact me – thus Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. b and f apply.

The following data is collected by the chat function (only when using the chat):

E-mail address (only if it is given)

Phone number (only if specified)

The exchanged messages and data are stored within the Smartsupp application.

The storage period is 3 months, after which the data is deleted. Smartsupp provides some analysis capabilities, but all of them are not enabled:

No IP address capture, no Smartlook function (video recording of the cursor while visiting one of my websites).

I have a contract with Smartsupp for order processing.

More information about data processing with Smartsupp here: https://www.smartsupp.com/help/privacy/

  1. Newsletter

ActiveCampaign

This website uses ActiveCampaign to send newsletters. Provider is ActiveCampaign in Chicago, US, 1 North Dearborn St, 5th Floor
Chicago, IL 60602

ActiveCampaign is a service that can be used to organize and analyze the sending of newsletters. The data entered by you for the newsletter subscription (e.g. e-mail address) is stored on the servers of ActiveCampaign.

My newsletters sent with ActiveCampaign allow me to analyze the behavior of the newsletter recipients. Among other things, it can be analyzed how many recipients have opened the newsletter message and how often which link was clicked in the newsletter. With the help of so-called conversion tracking, it can also be analyzed whether a predefined action (e.g. purchase of a product on my website) has taken place after clicking the link in the newsletter.

The data processing takes place either on the basis of your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO), or, within the framework of memberships, within the framework of the General Terms and Conditions as a service and thus for the fulfilment of contractual obligations (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b DSGVO). You can revoke your consent at any time by unsubscribing the newsletter. If the newsletter is sent as part of your membership, you can also unsubscribe from the dewn newsletter at any time. The legality of the data processing operations that have already taken place remains unaffected by the revocation.

If you don’t want ActiveCampaign to analyze you, you have to unsubscribe from the newsletter. For this purpose we provide a corresponding link in every newsletter message.

The data you provide to me for the purpose of subscribing to the newsletter will be stored by me until you unsubscribe from the newsletter and deleted from the ActiveCampaign servers after you unsubscribe from the newsletter. Data stored by us for other purposes (e.g. e-mail addresses for the member area) remain unaffected.

For more information, see ActiveCampaign’s privacy policy at: https://www.activecampaign.com/privacy-policy

Conclusion of a contract for order data processing

We have signed a contract with ActiveCampaign for order data processing and fully implement the strict requirements of the German data protection authorities when using ActiveCampaign.

  1. Plugins and Tools

Vimeo

On this page one or more videos are integrated. These videos are hosted directly at Vimeo because of the better performance.

This causes (and this has technical reasons) that Vimeo servers are called and these in turn collect data of your browser. You can find the necessary Vimeo data protection information here: https://vimeo.com/privacy

Vimeo itself is listed in the Privacy Shield, which requires it to maintain an appropriate level of data protection.

Cookies from Google Analytics I have prevented the connection. This means that the embedding code of the video was supplemented by a small addition (?dnt=1). This blocks cookies set by Google Analytics when they are called.

Appointment booking

To make it as easy as possible to make an appointment with me, a button has been integrated on this page that is linked to my booking page.

Provider of the booking page is youcanbookme, 38 Mill Street, Bedford, MK40 3HD, United Kingdom.

With youcanbookme I have concluded a Terms & Conditions agreement. If you book an appointment, please enter the following data:

First name and surname as well as e-mail as mandatory fields. Further information is voluntary.

Your data will be stored by me from the inquiry form including the contact data given by you there for the purpose of processing the inquiry and in case of follow-up questions. I will not pass this data on without your consent.

The processing of the data entered in the booking form is therefore based on Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. b or f DSGVO.

The data entered by you in the contact form will remain with me until you request deletion or the purpose for data storage no longer applies (e.g. after your request has been processed). Mandatory legal provisions – in particular retention periods – remain unaffected.

In my youcanbookme account I have set that the data will be deleted automatically after 1 month.

More information here: https://youcanbook.me/privacy

Membership in learning portals / Registration

If you have set up a user account on this site, the information you provide will be stored for the duration of the user relationship. With regard to the mandatory information required in each case, I refer to my AGB, from which corresponding information can be found.

Sometimes I also use other registration forms that may collect other information.

In your account, the orders you have placed and above all the courses / memberships you have completed will be stored, depending on the course, your progress and possibly also the certificates for your courses.

Orders: If you order memberships, data about the purchase will be passed on to Digistore24. Digistore24‘s privacy policy can be found here. Digistore24 is “responsible” for its own data processing.

If you create a user account, you will also receive so-called transaction mails from my website. Transaction emails include emails asking you to verify your email address for a double opt-in, sending you a link to reset your password using the “Forgot Password” feature, notifying you of new lessons available for an online course you have attended, confirming a purchase, membership, booking a meeting via my website (youcanbookme), etc.

I send transactional e-mails via Hetzner-Server. Hetzner is based in Germany and is therefore fully subject to the DSGVO. I have concluded a contractual agreement with Hetzner for the processing of data within the meaning of Art. 28 DSGVO. The legal basis for sending these transaction e-mails is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b) DSGVO.

Even if you are a member of a courses / portals, e-mails are sent to you to a large extent via a mailing service provider used by me. If, for example, you take part in an online appointment, you will receive all information about upcoming appointments (webinars, coaching etc.) by e-mail.

Almost all automatically sent e-mails or e-mails that are not sent individually to you will be sent via ActiveCampaign. Everything else see above.

If you want to delete your account, please feel free to contact me at any time. However, please note that at least for orders with costs there are storage obligations for certain data (e.g. according to HGB and AO). In these cases I will block the data instead of deleting it.

Legal basis of the processing for the sending of newsletters is § 7 UWG. The upstream and downstream data processing is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) DSGVO. My interest: Preparation of newsletter dispatch, maintenance of blacklists and unsubscriptions.

For e-mails sent to registered members, the legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b) DSGVO. The members thus receive information which is the subject of my contractual services.

Modification of this notice

I will revise this privacy statement if there are any changes to this site or for any reason that requires it. You will always find the current version on this website.
